Because it’s about learning all the time – asking questions and then finding the answers. The most important thing is that we change our ideas if new evidence comes along, even if we don’t like what the evidence tells us.

I love tracking down facts and finding out the truth. Being a scientist is like being a police detective, searching for clues, trying to piece together the real story of the world in which we live.

Because science is disciplined, ruled yet creative, and pretty much endless in possibilities, as long as their rational and logical. You should think of science as a world of possibilities for which you ‘re given sensible guidelines to use when you explore it. You shouldn’t think of it as restrictive.

Because its full of new discoveries and the findings that we have from science informs other disciplines like engineering and the arts, ultimately contributing towards human kind and nature.

For example, understanding the behaviour of the clouded leopard can help us protect its habitat. Understanding how flight works can help us design drones, understanding how the human body works can help us design medicine to save lives. 🙂
