• Question: why do elephants have big ears~?

      Elephants have big ears to help them keep cool! Their ears are full of tiny blood vessels. When they get warm they flap their ears and this cools the blood in them down. This cooler blood is then pumped around the rest of the body. You will see them doing lots of ear flapping when they are hot!
