      My favourite bird is the arctic tern. It migrates from the south of the world to the north to breed, then back again each year – amazing. It looks very slender and neat: white body feathers, a black head and red beak. They hover in the sky like an angel and then dive into the sea to catch little fish. But they don’t sing – they scream! They are very protective of their nests and will dive-bomb people who get too close – wear a hat if you go looking for them.
