Question: what got you interested in elephants ?

It was actually a chance opportunity. I started doing a masters degree and our course supervisor asked if anyone would like to volunteer with a group called the Elephant Welfare Grp. i thought it would be good for my CV so I said yes please! That was just data entry (questionnaire forms had been completed and I needed to put them into Excel) but because I was ‘linked’ with elephants i got to do my first ele project – looking at resting behaviour. As my friend described it ‘looking at elephants in their beds’ – it was an amazing project and from there my love for elephants was cemented!
