Question: how human like are monkeys

There are a lot of different types of monkey and we’re very different to most fo them. There are species that are more like us such as chimpanzees. We share some behavioural traits and quite a lot of genetic similarity with them. Higher apes can do things like intentionally lie to others, understand that they’re an individual animal and grieve when they lose loved ones. That’s really rare in the animals kingdom and used to be thought of as purely human.
