Nice question Markus. Alot is known about both species, and being well-studied, there are a great number of tools and genetic information to facilitate even more studies.

As to what my research has found. Well, I was interested in how relatives affect the sexual interactions. For example, we found that when a female fly mates with a male, she disfavors the brother of that first male! And for chickens, we also found a similar effect.
