Good question! I don’t have my own chickens but I used to have 120 of them running around when I was doing my PhD, 60 of which I hatched from cute little chicks so I have grown attached to them. I missed them!

I often think it would be nice – my cousin has a few which keep them supplied with eggs. Maybe one day…

I have a chicken house in the cottage I rent but no chickens! I do like the idea but we already have quite a bit of work with the animals we have and you have to make sure you can look after them all before you get more.

I don’t have chickens but where I used to work, at a local reservoir, we used to have two chickens. They were very cute but made a dreadful mess! I remember many happy hours spent feeding them grapes!
