• Question: do goldfish actually have a 3 second memory?

      No they don’t – that is a myth! I don’t know exactly how long their memory is but they aren’t spinning around the tank doing a dory 🙂 it is important to keep their brains active with lots of enrichment opportunities!

      No this one’s not true (but funny to think about!). Fish can remember things that weren’t nice so they can avoid them and remember things that were good to get them again. That’s really useful and it definitely needs more than 3 seconds!
