• Question: are there any disadvantages if animals live in packs?

      Well, when you live a group, you have to share what you kill or find for food. But, if you’re a hunter, you can kill things that are much bigger when you work as a team instead of on your own.

      There are some disadvantages to living in groups – such as increased competition for food, mates and space to rear young, and increased risk of spread of disease. But the benefits outweigh the disadvantages for group species!
