I joined really because it sounded like quite an exciting thing to do. It is always nice to chat about science and the competition sounded fun. I have really enjoyed it so very glad I did join 🙂

I enjoy talking about science and I think it’s important for scientists to explain science to the next generation of scientists – and to tell them how much fun it is so may be they will think about becoming scientists too.

Because I really like talking to people and if I can help by answering questions that’s even better. It also makes me quite sad that people don’t know very much about science and say some bad things about it which just aren’t true. I think scientists should spend more time talking to the public, especially young people who are so much more open minded and ready to learn. It would help the public appreciate science better to see how amazing it is
