Ooo good question! I watched a turtle making a nest and laying her eggs in Borneo, that was pretty amazing! I have also seen killer whales really close up which was spectacular! I don’t think I can pick a single one though – I saw lots of things in Kenya, Namibia and South Africa that will stay with me forever 🙂

Watching a human or an animal learn something is so interesting and when you think about what they’re doing, it’s really amazing. It happens all the time so people take it for granted but when you think about it, the brain is re-organising itself to make new nerve connections based on what it just experienced. The most amazing thing about that is that we’re all getting smarter all the time! If you want to be smarter, then give yourself more opportunities to learn and remember to be amazed by your own brain!

      Hello Julen, nice question.

I enjoy nature very much and thus the tropical forest would be my answer to the most interesting and amazing thing I have ever seen.

An iconic saying: ‘We have no wifi in the forest but we promise the best connection (with nature)’.

That’s exactly what I feel when I’m in the tropical forests, gone for two weeks, no humans, no loud cars and no people shouting, just full of life, the ones we depend on for our survival. If you look closely, you can see a variety of really colourful insects, small venomous snakes, a wildboar in the distance and I once even encountered a snake and a sun bear.

All these fascinating sights are breath-taking, and not something we see everyday and I can truly appreciate it all.

The most amazing thing I have ever seen wasn’t an animal. It was the northern lights – a shimmering display of lights in the sky at night when I was in Canada – amazing! They are caused by the solar wind dropping a type of dust (tiny particles) into Earth’s atmosphere where they cause these incredible displays You can see a picture of these displays here:

The most amazing animal behaviour I have seen was when a huge grey whale came up to our boat on holiday last summer. It seemed to have an itch and scratched it on our boat – we could lean over and touch it. When it squirted water out of its blow-hole it smelled terrible!
