Oh wow nice question! I would love to see a clouded leopard give birth in the wild. So far, no one has recorded that before and we don’t know whether the birth process takes place in the trees or on the ground. Birth is the beginning of life and its a miracle indeed!

Now you’ve got me thinking. I think I would love to be in Antarctica and see a massive colony of emperor penguins huddling together and the never-ending line of parents waddling back from the ocean after swimming to find food. You can see a picture of this kind of mass gathering here:

Oh my goodness, what a great question! Gosh I don’t know. I think actually I might like to see an African elephant give birth in the wild. When they give birth the whole group sort of runs around, trumpets, touches the little one. It is a real hive of activity and I think the noise would be amazing! I also did see a turtle in Borneo come up the beach, dig a hole and lay her eggs which was pretty cool too! There are so many amazing natural experiences! What would be yours?

Great questions and great use of the words murmuration! I’m really lucky because I used to see that regularly – there is a bridge in Belfast where you can see the starling “murmur” at dawn every day and it’s incredible. Apart from that, I totally agree with Cedric that seeing the birth of a very rare and elusive species would be miraculous.

Why just one? There are so many things I’d like to see! One of my top 3 would have to be to see dolphins make “mud nets” to trap fish:
