• Question: If a snake bit itself would it die?

      They shouldn’t be able to 🙂 venomous snakes are immune to their own venom – they apparently have proteins in their blood that neutralise their own venom. Although I guess it would be a fairly careless snake if it was biting itself!

      Luckily not! Animals and plants have to be immune to their own poison so it doesn’t affect them. Despite the silly (terrible!) joke on my profile.
