We asked Carrie to tell us about winning I’m a Scientist, and here is what she said…

I have had the most fantastic time over the last two weeks. I learnt so much from the other amazing scientists in the Animal Behaviour Zone and had such a good laugh with them. The students have blown my mind with their open, creative inquiries about animal behavior and how much they care about the subject.

To be voted the winner at the end of all that fun was such a surprise and made me feel really special. I want to thank all the students who asked questions and voted for the scientists, the great team at IAS who put it all together and the rest of my panel for all the fun I’ve had.

I’m genuinely going to miss all the buzz and questions now but I can get on with planning our really exciting Bioblitz at Hartpury College that has been made possible by the really generous prize money that IAS has given us.
