Animal behaviour is all about what animals are doing and why they are doing it. Scientists who study animal behaviour try to work out why animals are behaving in a particular way.
Our five experts work on different aspect of animal behaviour. One studies friendship and decision making in elephants in zoos, one researches how deforestation and human activity affect clouded leopards, and one studies birds in noisy towns to see why they sing in the din. One studies social behaviour in fish from Africa, and another researches social interactions between humans and animals.
